چکیده

We present an orthogonal topological framework which is able to provide incidence traversal operations for all topological elements. The run-time performance of this topological traversal operations can be optimized at a highly expressive level, where the abstraction penalty imposed by this approach is negligible. For the topological storage we use vertex-cell as well as cell-vertex incidence information. Using metaprogramming and the archetype concept we can optimize traversal of inter-dimensional objects without explicitly storing them.

On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) on Networks

We propose a framework for efficient OLAP on networks with a focus on the most interesting kind, the topological OLAP (called “TOLAP”), which incurs topological changes in the underlying networks. Topological OLAP operations generate new networks from the original ones by rolling up a subset of nodes chosen by certain constraint criteria. The key challenge is to efficiently compute measures for...

Comparison of Topological Indices Based on Iterated ‘Sum’ versus ‘Product’ Operations

The Padmakar-Ivan (PI) index is a first-generation topological index (TI) based on sums over all edges between numbers of edges closer to one endpoint and numbers of edges closer to the other endpoint. Edges at equal distances from the two endpoints are ignored. An analogous definition is valid for the Wiener index W, with the difference that sums are replaced by products. A few other TIs are d...

Computing GA4 Index of Some Graph Operations

The geometric-arithmetic index is another topological index was defined as 2 deg ( )deg ( ) ( ) deg ( ) deg ( ) G G uv E G G u v GA G u v     , in which degree of vertex u denoted by degG (u). We now define a new version of GA index as 4 ( ) 2 ε ( )ε ( ) ( ) ε ( ) ε ( ) G G e uv E G G G u v GA G   u v    , where εG(u) is the eccentricity of vertex u. In this paper we compute this new t...

The directional hybrid measure of efficiency in data envelopment analysis

The efficiency measurement is a subject of great interest. The majority of studies on DEA models have been carried out using radial or non-radial approaches regarding the application of DEA for the efficiency measurement. This paper, based on the directional distance function, proposes a new generalized hybrid measure of efficiency under generalized returns to scale with the existence of both r...
